Job Summary

Own end-to-end digital content production across social channels from concept through delivery, using audience insight and platform trends to shape storytelling.

  • Lead shoots and editing, plus compelling copy for social and web
  • Create content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contributors and work two days per week on-site at Haig House

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You’ll take projects from initial concept through to the finished piece, whether that means planning a shoot, getting behind the camera, editing video or writing sharp, engaging copy for social media and web.
  • You’ll create content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, working closely with colleagues and contributors to find interesting angles and bring stories to life.
  • You’ll also have a good understanding of what makes content perform, using audience insights and platform trends to inform your approach rather than simply producing more of the same.
  • You’ll be contracted to our Haig House hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the hub and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.
  • You’ll be proactive, organised and confident working with a wide range of people, with the creative judgement to know when an idea needs refining and when it’s ready to go.

Requirements

  • Experience creating digital content in a professional communications environment
  • Strong filming, video editing and copywriting skills
  • Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva

Preferred

  • We’re particularly interested in someone who can spot a good story, knows how to tailor content for different platforms and is comfortable juggling shoots, creative briefs and competing deadlines.

Benefits

  • 28 day’s paid holiday (plus bank holidays) increasing with service, with optional annual leave purchase scheme of up to 5 working days
  • Enhanced paid maternity, paternity and adoption leave
  • Generous pension scheme with employer contributions ranging from 6% to 14%, depending on length of service
  • Range of flexible working options may be available, depending on your role
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential counselling, financial and legal advice
  • Range of courses delivered by learning specialists to support your development goals and objectives
  • Opportunities to volunteer
  • Travel loans, Cycle to Work, and more!
