Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and develop a small team of Cruise Marketing Executives, providing clear direction, prioritising workloads and supporting their personal and professional development
Own the planning, management and delivery of integrated cruise marketing campaigns across the marketing mix, ensuring they meet objectives and deliver measurable results
Act as the key marketing contact for cruise across the wider business, working closely with commercial, product and other internal stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with cruise partners, suppliers and external agencies, managing activity within agreed budgets and ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and on time
Work collaboratively with specialist marketing teams to develop effective, insight-led campaigns that deliver against business objectives
Oversee creative development and customer-facing communications, ensuring all marketing materials are accurate, engaging and aligned with the Hays Travel brand
Use customer, campaign and commercial data to measure performance, identify opportunities and continually improve marketing effectiveness
Monitor competitor activity, cruise industry developments and wider consumer trends to identify opportunities and inform future marketing activity

Requirements

Experience in a marketing role, ideally within the travel industry, with cruise experience desirable but not essential
Experience of managing, coaching or mentoring team members, with the ability to provide clear direction and support individual development
Strong understanding of the marketing mix, with proven experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns from brief through to execution and evaluation
Commercially minded and results-driven, with the ability to use data and insight to inform decisions and deliver against business objectives
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships, influence others and challenge where appropriate
Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, make informed decisions and take ownership through to completion
Creative, proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to generate new ideas, identify opportunities and continuously improve
Positive and professional, with a strong commitment to Hays Travel's values, customers and continued personal and professional development
