Lead the development and execution of the organization’s marketing and communications strategy, including advertising, branding, digital engagement, and product promotion
Champion a unified brand vision by designing consistent themes, messaging, and visual identity across all communication channels
Build and maintain strong partnerships to understand organizational priorities, member needs, and industry trends, translating these insights into effective communication strategies
Evaluate, adopt, and optimize emerging marketing channels, technologies, and platforms to enhance visibility and engagement
Direct the planning and management of budgets, vendors, and internal resources to ensure efficient delivery of marketing programs
Oversee the creation, execution, and performance measurement of comprehensive marketing initiatives for Northwest Federal Credit Union
Establish and enforce brand standards to ensure quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance across all communications
Oversee the development of key corporate communications, including the annual report, marketing collateral, and all digital channels, including the corporate website
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, community partners, and external organizations to advance the credit union’s reputation and strategic objectives
Remains cognizant of and adheres to NWFCU policies and procedures as well as regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives in complex organizations
Proven executive leadership experience overseeing marketing, sales, and business development functions
Demonstrated ability to design and implement large scale strategies that elevate brand recognition, drive growth, and enhance organizational visibility
Expertise in developing and executing data driven marketing strategies, including digital transformation, community partnership initiatives, and customer/member engagement programs
Deep experience in digital marketing, including multi-channel campaigns, analytics, and digital platform optimization
Ability to work onsite in the Herndon, VA office Monday–Thursday and the ability to work equally effectively remote on Fridays
