Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Vision : Partner with the CEO to define and execute a three-to-five-year strategic plan focused on service line expansion (e.g., spine, sports medicine), geographic reach, and innovative care models.
  • Enterprise Brand Stewardship : Serve as the lead steward for the hospital’s brand, ensuring a consistent, mission-driven narrative across all platforms that resonates with parents, referring physicians, and community partners.
  • Market Intelligence : Monitor healthcare industry trends and competitive pediatric orthopedic landscapes to identify new program opportunities, risks, and strategic partnership prospects.
  • Integrated Marketing Execution : Oversee a multidisciplinary team to deploy data-driven campaigns spanning digital health, SEO/SEM, social media, and traditional media to drive patient volume and engagement.
  • Physician & Community Engagement : Strengthen referral networks by leading physician-facing marketing and managing high-visibility community or sports partnerships that enhance local brand trust.
  • Business Development & Partnerships : Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of strategic affiliations that align with the hospital’s pediatric mission.
  • Performance Metrics & ROI : Establish robust KPI frameworks to measure marketing effectiveness and the financial impact of strategic initiatives on the hospital's growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or healthcare administration required; a Master’s degree (MBA or MHA) is strongly preferred.
  • Typically requires 12–15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare strategy or marketing, with a proven track record of managing complex growth initiatives in a clinical setting.
  • Deep understanding of the pediatric healthcare ecosystem, including managed care operations, regulatory environments, and consumer-centric patient engagement.
  • Executive Presence : Ability to influence and collaborate with the Board of Directors, clinical leaders, and the broader executive team.
  • Visionary Thinking : Capable of translating complex market data into actionable long-term plans while navigating a fast-paced, competitive regional market.
  • Team Development : Experienced in mentoring high-performing, cross-functional teams in brand strategy, digital marketing, and business analytics.
