Develop and execute sport-specific marketing plans focused on: Attendance growth; Fan engagement; Brand awareness; Revenue support initiatives.
Plan and execute game-day marketing initiatives, promotions, and fan engagement activities.
Coordinate in-game entertainment, promotions, and student engagement efforts.
Assist with departmental initiatives including Kids Club, group experiences, and community engagement programs.
Assist with digital marketing initiatives across social media, web, email, and paid marketing platforms.
Coordinate promotional email campaigns supporting attendance, fan engagement, and departmental initiatives.
Help grow and engage fan databases through digital marketing initiatives.
Utilize analytics and audience insights to help guide campaign strategy and performance.
Work collaboratively with coaches and sport administrators to align marketing efforts with program goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Journalism.
Minimum one year of experience in Sports Communications or Sports Marketing required; two or more years preferred.
CPR/first aid certification required within six weeks of employment
California driver’s license required.
Must be available to work some evenings and weekends due to working home and away events.
This position requires occasional travel, including to away events.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

Preferred

Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations strongly preferred.
Working proficiency with SIDEARM Sports, StatCrew, NCAA Genius/NCAA Manager, StatBroadcast, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign strongly preferred.
Experience with still photography preferred.
