YouTube Content Producer — DiLucci CPA Firm

Role Overview

You have already run a YouTube channel past 100,000 subscribers. You know what that actually takes — not the strategy deck version, the version where you're setting up lights at 7am, running camera at 10am, and answering the editor's question that night so the cut isn't stuck until Monday.

DiLucci CPA Firm has been serving business owners and real estate investors since 2005. Our founder, Jasmine DiLucci, is a tax attorney and CPA who publishes tax content to a growing audience, and the content operation has outgrown what she can run herself.

You would be that operation. Not a member of the content team — the content team. You'll own production end to end: planning shoot days, running camera, directing on set, managing the editing pipeline, and reviewing editor work against a standard you set.

This role is for someone who has been the only person in the department before and liked it. There is no one here to hand you a shot list, and there won't be for a while. If you need a defined queue of assigned tasks to do good work, this will frustrate you. What You'll Own

Production

• Plan and run shoot days end to end — scheduling, setup, lighting, audio, teardown
• Operate camera and direct on-camera talent
• Maintain and improve the studio setup, gear, and shooting workflow
• Solve production problems in real time without escalating every one of them

Post-production

• Own the editing pipeline from raw footage to published asset
• Review and give direction on video editor work — you need to know editing well enough to spot what's wrong and articulate the fix, whether or not you cut every video yourself
• Hold a consistent standard for pacing, sound, color, and retention structure
• Manage thumbnails, titles, packaging, and publishing

The channel

• Track performance and act on it — retention, click-through, watch time
• Identify what to make next and bring it to the CEO as a proposal, not a question
• Build a repeatable content system that produces consistent output without constant direction
• Adapt as the channel grows and formats change

Requirements

Non-negotiable:

• A portfolio of YouTube channels you've worked on with 100,000+ subscribers — you'll be asked for links, your specific role on each, and what you personally owned
• You currently live within 30 minutes of our Coppell office, and this is an on-site role
• Hands-on videography: camera operation, lighting, and audio, not just direction
• Editing knowledge deep enough to review and direct other editors' work
• Experience as the sole producer or sole content person in an organization
• A track record of creating your own work — projects you initiated, not projects you were assigned

Strongly preferred:

• Content experience in finance, tax, investing, real estate, or money
• Personal background or education in finance or accounting
• Experience with founder-led or personality-driven channels
• Comfort translating complex or technical material into content people actually watch
