Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead global cultural strategy for Apple’s wearables portfolio — with a focus on Apple Watch and AirPods.
  • Drive the development and stewardship of strategic relationships across music, fashion, fitness, sports and lifestyle — building meaningful partnerships with artists, creators, teams, athletes, coaches, and organizations around the world.
  • Translate cultural insight into high-impact, globally resonant programs.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Sports and more to create strategic, integrated programs that are uniquely Apple.
  • Develop and drive cultural strategies that inspire the world’s most influential creators to authentically use and champion Apple products — particularly Apple Watch and AirPods — in modern, socially native ways.
  • Embed Apple products into meaningful, lasting creative communities around the world.
  • This is a highly collaborative, relationship-driven role for someone who understands culture deeply, moves at the speed of social, and knows how to embed Apple products into meaningful, lasting creative communities.

Requirements

  • 11+ years of experience in cultural marketing, entertainment marketing, communications, talent relations, or integrated brand strategy within a global organization.

Preferred

  • Proven leadership developing multi-market, cross-functional cultural strategies.
  • Demonstrated track record of building and managing long-term relationships with high-profile creators, athletes, artists, executives, and their representation.
  • Deep expertise in social-first storytelling and product integration across major cultural moments (music, sports, fashion, global tentpoles).
  • Experience leading global product seeding strategies tied to launches, major events, and fast-moving social trends.
  • Strong strategic judgment — able to determine which cultural relationships to prioritize and how to maximize long-term value for the brand.
  • Experience driving wearables (or adjacent hardware) integration into culture through authentic creator storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience managing complex, high-visibility projects simultaneously — delivering on strategy, on time, and to premium brand standards.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, strategic updates and narrative reports for senior leadership.
  • Global mindset with experience operating across multiple regions and cultural contexts.
