Job Description
The WMS Configuration & Support Analyst is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving the Warehouse Management System. This role bridges operations and technology — translating business requirements into system setups and providing hands-on support to warehouse teams to ensure optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
System configuration & setup
- Configure and maintain WMS parameters, including zones, locations, wave templates, value-
added manufacturing processes, item master, and carrier integrations.
User support & issue resolution
- Serve as tier-1 and tier-2 support for WMS end users; investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents in a timely manner.
Testing & change management
- Coordinate and execute UAT for patches, upgrades, and new feature deployments; maintain change logs and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
Reporting & data analysis
- Create and maintain operational reports and dashboards; analyze WMS data to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
Training & documentation
- Develop and deliver end-user training; maintain up-to-date SOPs, configuration guides, and knowledge base articles.
Integration support
- Support core ERP & eCommerce integrations; liaise with core ERP, eCommerce, and IT teams to resolve interface issues and monitor data flows.
Education/Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on WMS experience (EasyWMS, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS, or similar), hands-on 3PL fulfillment environment.
Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, replenishment planning, and overall fulfillment processes (receiving, putaway, pick/pack, shipping)

- Highly Organized: Meticulous approach to managing multiple, concurrent workstreams.
- Problem Solver: Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Business Acumen: Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
- Technologies: Understanding of QR code and bar code scanning technologies and best practice uses.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings.
