Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex websites using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Bootstrap to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Design and implement robust back-end systems with frameworks like Django, Spring Framework, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, and PHP to support scalable web applications.
  • Integrate APIs and web services including RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SOAP, and third-party platforms to enhance functionality and data exchange.
  • Manage database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, SQLite, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Implement DevOps practices using tools like Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, Git for version control, CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment, and system architecture planning for optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and code reviews to maintain high-quality standards across all development phases.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into functional designs while ensuring adherence to SEO best practices and responsive web design principles.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Trello and Jira to track progress and coordinate tasks within Agile development cycles.
  • Optimize websites for speed, security (SSL/TLS), accessibility standards (WCAG), and search engine ranking through effective SEO strategies.
  • Maintain documentation of codebase and system architecture for future scalability and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing complex websites with expertise in front-end frameworks like React or Angular combined with back-end technologies such as Django or Spring Framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as AWS or Azure cloud services.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git or SVN along with familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Experience in web design principles focusing on user flows, UX/UI best practices, responsive design techniques using SCSS or Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like WordPress or Drupal is a plus for integrating content management solutions.
  • Ability to perform system architecture planning for scalable applications supporting high traffic volumes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues related to web services or server configurations.

Preferred

  • Experience with WordPress or Drupal for CMS
  • Familiarity with SCSS or Bootstrap for responsive design
