We are seeking a Web Developer & Client Success Specialist to support our growing portfolio of WordPress and Shopify clients. This role combines technical website execution with client communication and project management, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both development and relationship-building.

About the Role

You will serve as a key point of contact for website-related client requests while handling the day-to-day management, maintenance, and development of WordPress and Shopify websites.

This role requires someone who is technically capable, highly organized, responsive, and comfortable communicating directly with clients.

ResponsibilitiesWebsite Development & Maintenance

• Manage website updates across WordPress and Shopify websites
• Build and modify landing pages using Elementor and Shopify page builders
• Implement content, design, and functionality updates
• Publish blogs and website content
• Perform routine website maintenance and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot website issues and bugs
• Ensure websites function properly across desktop and mobile devices

Technical Support

• Manage plugin and theme updates
• Troubleshoot contact forms, tracking, and website functionality
• Assist with hosting, DNS, domain, and SSL-related requests
• Support analytics and conversion tracking implementation
• Monitor website performance and identify issues proactively

Client Communication

• Serve as a primary contact for website-related client requests
• Communicate project timelines and progress updates
• Participate in client meetings when necessary
• Translate technical issues into clear, client-friendly language
• Manage website support tickets and requests efficiently

Project Management

• Track website requests and deliverables
• Prioritize tasks across multiple client accounts
• Maintain organized documentation and project notes
• Coordinate with internal marketing and design teams

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with WordPress
• Experience with Shopify
• Experience using Elementor
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM)
• Familiarity with DNS, hosting platforms, and SSL certificates
• Experience with Klaviyo integrations
• Basic JavaScript knowledge
• Agency experience
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) experience

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, you will:

• Independently manage routine website requests
• Build and update WordPress and Shopify pages with minimal oversight
• Communicate directly with clients regarding website projects
• Resolve common website issues independently
• Become a trusted extension of the 4624Creative team
