Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains an ongoing strategy for ensuring online content is current, consistent, audience-appropriate and accurate across multiple sites, to promote an integrated and high-quality user experience.
  • Oversees administration of the web content management system (Sitecore) and training of CFP Board staff on how to use the CMS.
  • Ensures website compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Manages the overall work activities of the Web Communications Specialist, including establishing performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating employee development.
  • Leads and coordinates QA and testing efforts for new features, content updates, and releases, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and a high-quality user experience across all web properties.
  • Lead and execute A/B testing on content, layout, CTAs, design to improve conversion rates and inform data-driven website decisions.
  • Maintains clear visibility into all active and upcoming website initiatives, ensuring effective tracking, prioritization, and follow-through, including ownership of the digital roadmap and intake process for all major website initiatives.
  • Reviews and approves content for CFP Board’s websites, working with department representatives to complete updates in a timely manner consistent with organizational standards.
  • Oversees online content to ensure proper voice, tone and style, visual guidelines and brand usage.
  • Ensures all content follows brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, web design or other related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with website development and design/UX concepts, and with writing and editing for websites and digital communications.
  • Experience with Sitecore content management systems strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge in Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Strong understanding of SEO, GEO and increasing organic search traffic.
  • Experience managing employees, contractors and agency partners.
  • Experience managing budgets and contracts.
  • Data-driven decision maker who is highly analytical and a critical thinker.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and maintain visibility across workstreams.
