Job Description

Role Description 15-20 hours/month. Flexible schedule. Work from home. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content for Towne Halls, Book Trailers, and other video promotions. Your day-to-day tasks will include editing raw footage, adding special effects, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. This is an opportunity to contribute to creating engaging content that promotes healthy dialogue and impacts our global community. You will receive credit within the project for your work. About iPub iPub, ipubcloud.org, is a 501(c)3 non-profit publishing organization: Our mission is to elevate stories and ideas that build bridges between communities, cultures, generations, and perspectives through books, children’s literature, fiction, nonfiction, memoir, and educational works. Help us share and tell the stories of authors who are changing the world. You will work closely with our team to create beautiful content, engage our community, and bring a fresh, creative perspective to our brand. Qualifications · Proficiency in video editing software · Knowledge of video and audio file formats, codecs, and compression techniques · Ability to edit and enhance video and audio content to meet quality standards · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Excellent time management and organizational skills · Strong communication and collaboration skills · Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus · Experience with color grading and color correction is a plus · Passion for creating engaging and impactful content An Audio Editor will focus on editing raw audio clips, adding special effects, enhancing audio quality, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. This background is a plus. You will receive engineering credit within the project for your work.
