Job Description
Domestic Outreach involves participating in events including Earthday as well as Orangutan Caring Week in November. Other activities are planned and conducted by volunteers. OURF works with schools to enroll and inspire students to learn about orangutans and take action to conserve the species.
OURF works with the Sustainable Green Sumatra Foundation (YSHL) to implement the Community Education and Conservation Program (CECP). The CECP program delivers education to villages near Gunung Leuser National Park to reduce conflict between the villagers and orangutans. The CECP program also provides training and assistance in organic farming and waste management at the village level as well as providing ways to improve livelihood as an alternative to destructive practices.
OURF works with the Orangutan Information Center in Medan, Sumatra, Yayasan Palung in West Kalimantan, and Borneo Nature Foundation in Central Kalimantan in implementing the Orangutan Caring Scholarship program. OURF raises and aggregates funds contributed by donors to provide multi-year tuition for Indonesian college and university students in the fields of Biology, Forestry and Veterinary Science. The scholarships are given in a competitive manner by the implementing organizations.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with our Google Ads Grant initiatives. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing while supporting a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and optimizing our Google Ads Grant account.
- Conduct keyword research and develop effective ad campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align ad strategies with organizational goals.
- Help create compelling ad copy that promotes our mission and programs.
- Stay updated on Google Ads and digital marketing best practices and platform changes.
- Strong interest in digital marketing and non-profit work.
- Basic understanding of Google Ads and online advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity and experience with SEO management and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads and digital marketing strategies.

The Orang Utan Republik Foundation (OURF), also operating as TOP-USA, began as a project, Orang Utan Republik Education Initiative (OUREI) in 2004, to save wild orangutans from extinction through education and other innovative collaborative projects. OURF is a publicly funded, 501c3 nonprofit organization, based in Santa Monica, California, and serves as a chapter of The Orangutan Project (Australia). OURF provides funding to the Orangutan Caring Foundation of Indonesia which operates the Mobile Education and Conservation Unit, a program that goes to schools, universities, villages, government offices, and public venues to educate the local people about orangutans, their plight, and what the local people can do to help save the species. OURF also works with other organizations in Indonesia to administer the Orangutan Caring Scholarships as well as conservation programs in Indonesia and Malaysia through TOP.
