Company Description The Shooter's Network is focused on empowering videographers to build sustainable, profitable careers using the skills and equipment they already have.
Role Description This is a Part time/gig Videographer role based in the San Diego area, focused on producing high-quality video content for business clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing video shoots, operating cameras and lighting equipment, and capturing footage that aligns with each client’s brand and marketing objectives. The Videographer will collaborate with clients and internal team members to define project scopes, shot lists, and creative concepts, as well as manage on-site logistics during shoots. Additional tasks may include basic post-production support, such as organizing footage, providing input on edits, and ensuring deliverables meet professional standards. The role also involves maintaining gear, staying current with industry trends, and contributing ideas that help clients achieve strong visual storytelling and measurable business results.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating projects for business clients.
- Candidates should possess advanced Camera Operation and Camera handling skills, including familiarity with modern digital cinema mirrorless systems.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Lighting and Shooting Video, including setting up and adjusting lighting for various environments.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Experience working on commercial, corporate, or real estate video projects is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is a plus.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing recent videography work is strongly preferred.
- MUST BE ABLE TO SHOOT THROUGH THE WEEK (NOT JUST WEEKENDS)
Compensation
$25-$35hr based on experience
