Summary
San Diego Wave Fútbol Club is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Video Producer with a
background in visual storytelling and creative media. The individual in this role will assist with
the development and production of all club video content, as assigned. A successful candidate
will have experience across a variety of areas including pre-production, shooting, sound, editing
and post-production (color, motion, encoding, etc.), and show demonstrated ability to edit for
multiple platforms.
This is a part-time, seasonal role that works at an average of 15-25 hours per week and will be
paid $20 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
  • Capture footage of all Wave FC home matchdays and select training sessions
  • Assist with shooting and editing press conferences, player interviews, highlight reels,
community relations’ events, sales and marketing activations and sponsored content
  • Assist with production of video projects from start to finish, including ideating unique
concepts, independently executing video shoots, gathering input from stakeholders,
cataloging footage and post-production work
  • Produce short-form video edits designed specifically to stop fans in their scroll on social
media
  • Assist in the production and editing for videos designed for stadium and other in-house
productions
  • Log and archive clips to facilitate future accessibility
Qualifications
  • Minimum one (1) year relevant work experience in video production; undergrad
experience in college athletics is accepted
  • For consideration, candidate must submit examples of previous work and/or portfolio
  • Experience with DSLR camera operations
  • Demonstrated experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac devices; experience
With Premiere Pro Required, Some After Effects Experience Preferred
  • Excellent work ethic, strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve in a time sensitive manner
  • Flexible schedule during the season (March-Nov) with availability on weekdays,
weekends, and/or holidays
  • Self-starter that can be given a task and will take ownership of the successful execution
on it
  • Ability to work 2026 home matches and special events as required
