Job Title: Video and Online Content Producer

Duration: Up to 2 months contract with possibility of extension

Location: VA – 100% Remote work

Pay Rate: $38-$40/hr. The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Note: Up to 30 hours/week.

Skills/experience:

• Experience producing compelling, cohesive, engaging video content

• Experience managing post-production resulting in high-quality video content

• Experience conducting interviews with professional experts

• Experience developing articles or managing web pages that configure articles/video content

• Familiarity with Drupal or similar CMS

• Ideal but not required: Video editing skills, experience with Adobe Express

Responsibilities:

• Primary:

o Plan and produce video content for student and parent audiences about college and career topics for BigFuture.org/community

o Support expert interviewing to collect video content via Zoom meetings

o Provide detailed production instructions to video editor including timestamped clips and script based on interview transcript

o Provide feedback and sign off on final version of videos from editor

• Secondary:

o Create web production-ready plans for online content pages (articles, promo pages)

o Provide feedback and sign-off on final version of pages from web producer
