Responsibilities

• You'll turn raw footage and rough ideas into videos that make people stop scrolling, with hooks that grab attention in the first few seconds and pacing that keeps them watching to the end.
• You'll partner closely with our Social Media Strategists to understand the goal behind every piece of content before you start cutting, then bring your own editing instincts and creative ideas to make the final product stronger.
• Some days that look like fast-turnaround clips pulled from a personality or podcast.
• Other days it's original brand content built from the ground up, including stepping behind the camera to help plan and film when the moment calls for it.
• You'll build the workflows, templates, and organized systems that let you move quickly without losing quality, and you'll use AI and innovative editing tools to work smarter along the way.
• Delivering videos that consistently beat baseline engagement and retention expectations.
• Building repeatable templates and workflows that speed up production without sacrificing quality.
• Batching content and keeping a clean, organized pipeline with consistent project files and naming.
• Leading with curiosity and asking good questions up front so ideas land right the first time and rework stays rare.
• Tracking performance data and using what you learn to sharpen the next edit.

Requirements

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience editing video for personalities, podcasts, or brand content, including UGC-style footage and content filmed direct to camera.
• You can point to real growth your editing helped create, not just a list of things you've delivered.
• You know how to use Adobe Premiere Pro and AI-powered editing tools to move faster without cutting corners on quality.
• You understand what makes a hook work and how pacing and storytelling keep people watching all the way through.
• You're comfortable editing for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X, and you know how each platform is different.
• You've helped scale content for a business and can speak to the results it drove, not just the views
