Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple video projects at once
  • Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC
  • Collaborating with the team.
  • The videographer is responsible for taking the marketing project brief and generating original video ideas that grab the attention of the target audience. This can include creating storyboards, production planning, and creating scripts.
  • Usually working on multiple projects, the typical creative process can involve:
  • Meeting with Marketing Director and Marketing Manager to discuss the projects requirements and core messages.
  • Familiarizing yourself with the product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
  • Brainstorming video ideas and concepts with other members of the marketing team
  • Presenting initial ideas to the marketing director, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts
  • Upload final deliverable to YouTube and other social media channels
  • Make revisions on the video project until the Marketing Director is satisfied.

Requirements

  • Experienced video editor with a Marketing/Social media background
  • Experience creating YouTube promo videos for social media purposes to promote the brand of a film company
  • Experience with video and audio editing software applications like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Audition

Preferred

  • Innovative storytelling through media
  • Motion graphics experience (bonus)
  • Experience with YouTube promo videos (bonus)
