Title: Video Broadcast Production Specialist

VP Area: Athletics

Published Salary Range: Up to 22.00 per hour

Job Summary/Basic Function:

Video Broadcast Production Specialists operate as the broadcast arm of Laker Athletics, supporting live coverage of home events. This role is responsible for operating cameras, producing graphics, directing broadcasts, and assisting with all aspects of live video production to deliver a high-quality viewing experience of home Athletic events.

Minimum Qualifications:

Strong communication skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior videography experience is preferred, but not necessary.

Willingness to learn broadcast production equipment and software.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands:

Standing for long periods.

Occasional lifting may be required at times.

Work Hours: 

  • Laker Athletics events, along with some preparation and rehearsals prior to events.
  • Must arrive at minimum an hour before the beginning of broadcast time.
