Job Summary

Own a multi-channel brand and growth agenda for a major sports franchise, turning fan insights into scale across campaigns, loyalty, and live experiences.

  • Brand and Campaign Ownership: Shape the brand voice and integrated programs across digital, social, events, and game-day touchpoints.
  • Fan Growth and Loyalty: Build acquisition, activation, retention, and loyalty programs using data-driven insights from BI/analytics.
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead annual marketing plans tied to ticketing, schedule events, tentpoles, and audience retention with cross-functional partnerships.

Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve the overall Clippers brand strategy, ensuring a clear and compelling brand voice across all fan touchpoints
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies that drive fan growth, strengthen brand affinity, and support revenue objectives
  • Shape integrated campaigns that connect with fans across digital, social, live events, and game-day experiences
  • Identify opportunities to expand the Clippers fanbase both locally and globally
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans supporting key business priorities, including: Season ticket membership campaigns
  • Single-game ticket sales
  • Schedule release campaigns
  • NBA tentpole moments
  • Brand and cultural initiatives
  • Audience growth and retention programs
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver cohesive and impactful campaigns that align with organizational priorities
  • Lead growth marketing strategy across performance marketing, CRM, email, web, app, and emerging digital platforms
  • Build and optimize fan acquisition, lead nurturing, conversion, retention, and loyalty strategies
  • Partner with Business Intelligence & Analytics teams to leverage fan insights, audience segmentation, and customer journey optimization
  • Continuously evaluate marketing performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, engagement, and ROI
  • Lead strategy and evolution of the Clippers loyalty ecosystem to deepen fan engagement and drive long-term fandom
  • Use fan behavior, data, and insights to continually refine loyalty programming and personalized experiences
  • Help create industry-leading fan experiences that differentiate the Clippers and Intuit Dome within sports and entertainment
  • Drive innovation across the Marketing organization, including the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows that improve creative production, personalization, speed, and operational efficiency
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous optimization across campaigns and fan experiences
Requirements
  • 12+ years of progressive marketing experience, including senior leadership roles
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing, brand, and growth marketing initiatives
  • Experience developing and executing large-scale, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and audience development strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform strategy and decision making
  • Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and highly collaborative environment

  • Experience in sports, entertainment, media, hospitality, or consumer-facing brands
  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and emerging marketing technologies
