Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent our client at partner venues during scheduled evening and weekend shifts, approaching guests and explaining what the app does.
  • Walk guests through downloading the app, setting up a profile, and going live, usually in a minute or two on their own phone.
  • Stay active on the app during your shift so each venue shows real activity when new users check in.
  • Answer questions and handle hesitation in a relaxed, low-pressure way. The goal is for people to try it, not to be sold.
  • Keep promotional materials such as table tents, posters, and QR signage visible and in good condition at each location.
  • Build friendly working relationships with bartenders, servers, and managers at partner venues.
  • Capture photos and short videos from your shifts (with guest permission) for the client's social media, following provided brand guidelines.
  • Share guest feedback and questions after each shift so the client can improve the app and the venue experience.
  • Help out at launch nights and special events at partner venues when scheduled.

Requirements

  • Experience in bartending, serving, retail, promotions, or other customer-facing work is a strong plus.
  • You're at ease walking up to people you don't know and keeping the conversation easy.
  • You're comfortable using a smartphone to demo an app and help someone else through setup.
  • Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok, and the ability to shoot decent photos and short clips on your phone.
  • Event, promo, or street team experience is helpful but not required.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Reliable for evening and weekend availability, with your own transportation to venues around Knoxville.
