US Corporates – Credit Analyst, Director – Sports (Technology, Media & Telecom)
The Director position within the Telecommunications, Media, and Technology Group at Fitch Ratings is a pivotal role that involves leading the analysis of sports transactions. This group is responsible for covering a diverse range of sports and corporate credits based out of our Austin, New York, Chicago and Toronto office.
Qualitative credentials will weigh meaningfully in the selection of the candidate. A healthy sense of intellectual curiosity is critical, along with a willingness and ability to attack and explain topics of analytical complexity. Fitch is a team-oriented work environment, so excellent communication skills are essential, as is a high productivity work-ethic and results oriented mindset.

We'll Count On You To
- Lead the analysis of sports transactions within TMT
- Maintain comprehensive financial models
- Lead meetings with management teams and advisors
- Prepare rating committee materials and published research
- Maintain a strong external analytic profile
- Participate in evaluation of other corporate credits
- Bachelor's degree
- CFA/CPA or CFA candidate preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced Excel and Word skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented mindset
- Relevant Sports and TMT experience a plus
- Experience in Sports and TMT industries
- Buy-side, sell-side, bank or rating agency credit experience
- Master’s degree or CFA
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management

FOR NEW YORK AND CHICAGO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $175,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
