Trend-Driven Creative & Graphic Designer / Product Coordinator

The RoleWe're looking for a trend-obsessed, highly creative Print & Product Designer with exceptional graphic design skills and a strong eye for color, pattern, and emerging consumer trends.
This role will be responsible for helping create prints, graphics, collections, and product concepts that define the future of Caden Lane. You'll help identify what's next in baby, toddler, nursery, and family lifestyle design while translating trends into commercially successful collections that feel uniquely Caden Lane.
The ideal candidate has an instinct for what customers will love before everyone else does, and a passion for creating products that become family favorites.

What You'll Own:
- Design original prints, patterns, graphics, and artwork for baby, toddler, nursery, and family collections
- Create seasonal collections, color stories, and family-matching product concepts
- Research emerging trends across children's apparel, interiors, lifestyle products, social media, retail, and fashion
- Build trend reports, mood boards, and inspiration decks that influence future product development
- Develop production-ready artwork and repeat patterns for manufacturing
- Collaborate with Product Development, Creative, and Marketing teams to bring collections from concept to launch
- Review strike-offs, color approvals, and samples to ensure design integrity throughout production
- Help identify new product opportunities, categories, and trends that align with the Caden Lane brand
- Maintain consistency across all prints and collections while continuing to evolve the brand aesthetic
- 2–5 years of experience in graphic design, surface pattern design, textile design, product design, or a related creative field
- Strong portfolio showcasing print design, pattern development, color stories, collections, and product concepts
- Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong understanding of composition, color, typography, and visual storytelling
- Proven ability to identify trends and translate them into commercially successful products
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience creating repeat patterns and production-ready artwork
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Passion for children's, family, lifestyle, and consumer products
- Have experience designing for baby, children's apparel, textiles, nursery, gift, stationery, home décor, or lifestyle brands
- Have experience with textile printing, surface pattern design, or licensed artwork
- Have worked directly with manufacturers, sourcing partners
- Understand product development and production workflows
- Have experience reviewing strike-offs, lab dips, and production samples
- Can sketch product concepts or communicate ideas visually
- Have a strong pulse on trends in DTC, boutique retail, and specialty baby markets
- Have experience sourcing materials or developing products from concept through production

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Boerne, TX. Remote work is not available.
