Join Us as a Traffic and Project Manager: Balance Agency Operations and Project Delivery
Join our team as a Traffic and Project Manager, where you'll operate in a unique dual-function role that equally balances agency workflow management and client project delivery. In this position, you will divide your focus between overseeing agency-wide traffic and owning individual projects-shifting between big-picture operational planning and detailed project execution throughout your day.
As a highly organized and adaptable professional, you'll collaborate closely with Account Management, Creative, Production, and Leadership to ensure both the health of the agency's workflow and the successful delivery of client work. Your ability to context-switch, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to both systems and projects will be critical to driving efficiency, clarity, and results across the organization.

What you'll do as Traffic and Project Manager:
Traffic Management (50%) - Own Agency Workflow & Resourcing
- Oversee Workflow: Manage agency-wide job flow across all departments, ensuring work is properly prioritized, routed, and progressing efficiently.
- Manage Resources: Own capacity planning and resource allocation across creative, production, and digital teams to maintain balanced workloads and prevent bottlenecks.
- Drive Scheduling: Build and continuously adjust daily and weekly schedules, aligning work with real-time team capacity.
- Facilitate Production Alignment: Lead or participate in SCRUM and production meetings to resolve conflicts and maintain forward momentum.
- Anticipate & Solve Constraints: Identify scheduling conflicts, bandwidth risks, and workflow gaps early, and implement solutions proactively.
- Improve Traffic Systems: Continuously evaluate and enhance traffic processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and visibility.
Project Management (50%) - Own Project Delivery & Client Outcomes
- Manage Projects End-to-End: Own assigned client projects from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Define & Plan Work: Gather requirements, build project plans, and ensure all inputs are complete before kickoff.
- Drive Execution: Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards before client delivery.
- Partner with Account Teams: Collaborate closely with account management to ensure client expectations are met and communication is seamless.
- Maintain Documentation: Create and manage all project documentation including briefs, estimates, timelines, and status reports.
- Manage Financials: Track budgets, timelines, and resource utilization to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support Team Development: Guide junior team members and reinforce best practices in project management and execution.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, or related field.
- 3-6+ years of experience in project management, traffic management, or a similar role within a marketing, advertising, or creative agency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage both project delivery and resource/workflow coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of integrated agency workflows across creative, production, and digital teams.
- Experience with capacity planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and utilization.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management and workflow tools (e.g., Workamajig, Asana, Monday, Jira, or similar).
- Ability to context-switch effectively between operational planning and detailed execution.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
