Job Description

Position Summary:

The TikTok Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the company’s TikTok Shop business operations in the U.S. market. This role will work closely with the China-based TikTok operations team to strengthen cross-border collaboration, improve operational alignment, and support localized execution for the North America business.

The position will serve as a key bridge between U.S. local functions and global teams, partnering closely with Content Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Retail teams to drive sales growth, content-commerce integration, and overall TikTok business performance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating TikTok Shop business in the U.S. market, strong understanding of the TikTok ecosystem, and solid experience within the footwear, sportswear, or fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations and business performance of TikTok Shop in the U.S. market.
  • Partner closely with the China-based TikTok operations team to ensure strong communication, operational alignment, and execution efficiency across regions.
  • Collaborate with local Content Marketing, E-commerce, Merchandising, and Retail teams to develop integrated TikTok growth strategies.
  • Drive TikTok Shop sales growth through content-commerce initiatives, creator partnerships, campaign planning, livestream operations, and platform promotions.
  • Analyze sales performance, traffic, conversion, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Support localized product selection, promotional planning, and inventory coordination for TikTok business operations.
  • Manage relationships with creators, agencies, affiliates, and external platform partners as needed.
  • Stay current on TikTok platform trends, algorithm updates, social commerce trends, and competitive market activities.
  • Ensure operational compliance with platform policies and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in TikTok, E-commerce, or digital commerce operations.
  • Prior experience working directly within the TikTok/TikTok Shop platform ecosystem is required.
  • Hands-on experience managing or operating TikTok Shop seller business in the U.S. market is required.
  • Footwear, sportswear, apparel, or fashion industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior people management experience with proven leadership capability.
  • Strong understanding of social commerce, livestream operations, creator ecosystem, and digital consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical and operational management skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and project management capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English and Chinese is a plus.
