Job Summary

Own content-ops for a campus magazine by supporting social publishing, Drupal CMS postings, and analytics-driven content decisions for ongoing digital initiatives.

  • Content Operations: Assist with publishing across Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn and keep a consistent content calendar.
  • Web Presence: Perform Drupal CMS tasks such as posting articles, editing images, and fixing errors to keep the site polished.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Gather and summarize website and social analytics to inform content strategy and performance reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the digital editor with the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.
  • Perform website administrative tasks using the Drupal content management system, including posting articles, editing and resizing photos, and correcting errors.
  • Gather and summarize website and social media analytics to support content strategy and performance reporting.
  • Support the digital editor in building and maintaining the magazine’s website as part of Dartmouth Alumni Magazine’s ongoing digital initiative.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement, in a professional or organizational setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Drupal CMS, including posting, editing, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors in digital content.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time schedule of 10 hours per week.
