Job Description

DEPARTMENT:

Communications and Marketing

POSITION TYPE:

Temporary, non-benefit eligible. Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. May work up to 19 hours per week.

FLSA:
Hourly/Non-Exempt

POSITION PURPOSE/ROLE:

Supports the WCC and FVCC Marketing team in raising awareness of events by distributing and hanging approved flyers and posters to applicable businesses and public locations.

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Responsible for installing posters around campus and managing the organization of poster wall areas
  • Responsible for installing posters around the towns of Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Big Fork
  • And other duties as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to ensure and maintain confidentiality
  • Valid MT Driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to operate college vehicle.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business operators to establish a place to position posters.
  • Ability to provide quality customer service and interact in a pleasant and professional manner with students, staff, faculty, donors and the public
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with peers, supervisors, students, donors, and the public
  • Ability to problem-solve and be self-motivated
  • Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures
  • Possesses a cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, students, donors, and the public
