Job Description

Operations & Marketing Lead | Nekter Juice Bar

Location: Bellaire, TX Type: Full-Time/Part-Time | Hourly Reports To: Area Manager

About the Role

This isn't your average juice bar position - and we're not looking for an average candidate.

The Operations & Marketing Lead is a dual-focus role built for someone who thrives on the floor and thinks beyond it. Your primary home is in the store - you're making bowls, running the line, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and holding the standard. But when there's a quiet moment? While others reach for the mop or the prep list, you're reaching for your next LSM drop-off bag or building a partnership that brings 20 new customers through the door.

This role is for a self-starter who sees downtime as opportunity and genuinely loves the hustle of building something in the community.

What You'll Spend Most of Your Time Doing

  • Working the floor alongside the team - blending, building bowls, running register, and delivering a world-class guest experience
  • Serving as a culture and brand standard-setter - you lead by example every single shift
  • Supporting shift operations and helping keep the store running at a high level

Your Marketing & Operations Focus (During Store Downtime)

Local Store Marketing (LSM)

  • Executing surprise and delight drops - delivering product samples to local offices, gyms, studios, healthcare providers, and businesses to create buzz and drive trial
  • Maintaining and updating LSM tracking sheets to log all outreach, follow-ups, and results
  • Planning and scheduling in-store and community events (product launches, wellness pop-ups, sampling days, partnerships, etc.)
  • Building and managing relationships with local businesses, fitness studios, and community organizations
  • Identifying catering and bulk order opportunities and passing qualified leads to management
  • Proactively monitoring and responding to Google and Yelp reviews to protect and grow our local reputation
  • Coordinating with neighboring businesses on cross-promotional opportunities (e.g. co-branded offers, referral exchanges)
  • Capturing in-store content (photos, short videos) for use across social media and marketing channels
  • Supporting loyalty and app sign-up campaigns in-store - driving members to join Nekter Rewards and tracking results

Operations

  • Identifying inefficiencies in daily operations and proposing practical improvements
  • Documenting and helping refine in-store processes and SOPs
  • Auditing quality and brand standards during shifts and reporting observations to management
  • Assisting with onboarding and training new team members on both operational and guest experience standards

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (food & beverage, retail, or hospitality preferred)
  • A natural connector - you love talking to people and building relationships
  • Self-directed: you don't wait to be told what to do when there's a slow moment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented - you can manage a tracking sheet and follow up on outreach without being reminded
  • Social media savvy - comfortable capturing content and familiar with Instagram, TikTok, or similar
  • Passion for health, wellness, and the Nekter brand a major plus
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude

Why This Role is Different

Most store roles cap at what happens inside four walls. This one doesn't. If you're someone who wants to grow into operations, marketing, or management - this role is a launchpad. You'll get real experience with community marketing, business development, and operational improvement while doing meaningful work every single day.

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
  • Free product on every shift
  • Opportunity to grow into a leadership role
  • Be part of a fast-growing, health-focused brand that actually cares about its people
