Job Description

Own integrated media literacy and technology–driven instruction across an urban school, oversee building-wide IT needs, materials management, and standards alignment, and partner with families and peers to support diverse learning journeys.

  • Responsibilities: Teach information literacy and critical thinking across the curriculum.
  • Responsibilities: Provide professional development to staff on effective media/tech integration and information ethics.
  • Responsibilities: Oversee building wide computer needs and materials/equipment circulation.
  • Responsibilities: Align with Minnesota State Standards and District Graduation Requirements and apply best practices to diverse learners.
  • Responsibilities: Collaborate with peers to plan and implement teaching strategies responsive to student needs.
  • Responsibilities: Assess developmental and cognitive needs and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction.
  • Responsibilities: Engage families regularly to support learning using community resources.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Requirements: Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural setting.
  • Requirements: Demonstrated ongoing professional development through coursework or collaboration.
  • Requirements: Bilingual Spanish.
  • Requirements: A valid Minnesota teaching license; or proof of pending licensure.
