  • Share the story behind Round Barn's winemaking, brewing, and distilling programs.
  • Promote bottle sales, packaged beer, spirits, retail products, memberships, and other available guest experiences.
  • Build meaningful connections with guests while maintaining efficient service during high-volume periods.
  • Accurately enter orders and process payments using the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and fully stocked tasting and retail areas.
  • Assist with opening, closing, stocking, inventory organization, and daily side work.
  • Properly pour, handle, and store wine, beer, spirits, glassware, and beverage products.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify guest identification as required.
  • Communicate effectively with tasting room staff, bartenders, servers, managers, production teams, and other property departments.
  • Assist with special events, concerts, private functions, and peak-volume operations as needed.
  • Stay informed about current products, seasonal releases, promotions, events, memberships, and property offerings.
  • Represent the Round Barn brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Previous winery, brewery, distillery, tasting room, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of wine, craft beer, and spirits is strongly preferred; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Interest in learning about winemaking, brewing, distilling, and beverage production.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with individuals and groups in a guest-facing environment.
  • Ability to confidently recommend and sell products without creating a high-pressure experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple guests and priorities simultaneously.
  • Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to remain composed and engaging during high-volume service periods.
  • Dependable, punctual, and available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, concerts, and special events.
  • Ability to meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position operates in a fast-paced winery, brewery, distillery, and hospitality environment and may include both indoor and outdoor guest service areas. Team members should be prepared to work in varying seasonal weather conditions depending on operational needs.

The position requires the ability to:
