Job Summary

Support Steampunk’s visual storytelling during an in-person Design Intelligence internship by turning workshop outputs into visuals and templates.

  • Own or assist with translating workshop outputs into stories and illustrations.
  • Must-have: Rising third-year student focused on illustration, animation, and visual storytelling.
  • Standout: In-person studio access in Tysons Corner at least 3 days/week.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Participate in meetings, discovery and visioning sessions, capturing ideas in real-time visuals that clarify complex discussions
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to expand and refine visuals
  • Translate workshop outputs into compelling stories and illustrations that communicate big picture ideas
  • Prepare artifacts and deliverables for presentations and feedback sessions
  • Develop and contribute to a visual template repository

Requirements

  • This internship is in person; you must be able to work from our Design Intelligence studio in Tysons Corner, Virginia at least 3 days/week
  • Rising third year student or above with a focus on illustration, animation, and visual story telling
  • Customer-centric mindset and experience, critical thinking skills, a collaborative nature, and a curiosity for solving complex problems
  • Local to the DMV area
