Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Operate in a student administrative leadership and creative position, managing the work of the Content Team, preparing assignments, reviewing assignments, and managing workflows in Slack workspace
  • Manage the content team’s assignments, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accessibility standards
  • Create content briefs to ensure consistency from project to project
  • Assign content work and scheduling in ZeeMee, our social community space for prospective students and applicants
  • Assist in scheduling team meetings and updating the monthly shift schedule
  • Manage work within Trello and Slack workspace
  • Serve as part of the student administrative management team, working independently and collaboratively with other managers
  • Provide leadership guidance to student content creators, ensuring content meets deadlines and is produced according to best practices
  • Provide updates and platform information and statistics to Welcome Center full time administrative employees, serving as knowledge holders of current trends and use by the incoming class
  • Build blog posts and communications within CampusESP parent and family communications portal

Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program at The New School. Additional qualifications include:
  • Familiarity with and enthusiasm for social network sites, social media tools, and associated apps and technology
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Strong video editing skills with desire to learn and troubleshoot challenges
  • Impeccable attention to detail and aesthetics
