Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated strategic communication plans aligned with organizational priorities and program objectives.
  • Identify target audiences, develop messaging strategies, and recommend effective communication channels.
  • Create and manage communications campaigns across digital platforms, social media, traditional media, internal communications, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to develop messaging that supports program initiatives and brand objectives.
  • Facilitate internal communications to ensure personnel are informed of key initiatives, progress, and achievements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government partners, industry stakeholders, and innovation ecosystem organizations.
  • Serve as the Strategic Communications advisor for assigned divisions or programs, providing strategic messaging guidance.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand standards, mission priorities, and operational security (OPSEC) requirements.
  • Track and analyze communication performance using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate reach, engagement, and effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations to improve communication strategies based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, program management, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and executing strategic communications plans and campaigns.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience measuring communication effectiveness using analytics and reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with digital communication platforms and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and highly distributed organization.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support stakeholder engagement and program events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field required.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Organizational Management, Strategic Management, Program Management, or a related field preferred.
