Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with strategic communications, public relations, digital marketing, or content creation
  • 1+ years of experience drafting articles, press releases, web copy, leadership talking points, or social media content aligned to program milestones
  • Knowledge of professional writing, copyediting, and proofreading principles
  • Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent deadlines, track content review cycles across distinct programs, and integrate feedback from senior communications specialists
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including digital marketing managers, graphic designers, and program leadership
  • Ability to adhere to established style guides
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred

  • Experience supporting Department of War ( DoW ) , U.S. Army, or government technology transition and prize competition programs
  • Experience conducting environmental scanning and competitive media analysis to identify promotional and marketing avenues
  • Knowledge of print production processes for event collateral, including soldier exercise materials, display banners, and competition signage
  • Ability to synthesize complex technological and military modernization concepts into clear, engaging language for varied public and industry audiences
  • Possession of excellent detail-oriented skills
  • Secret clearance
