Comprising over 125 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise in program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), as well as clients in PEO Ships, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

The candidate will support the Strategic Communications team within a major NAVSEA Program Office. This position serves as a trusted advisor supporting leadership and stakeholder engagement activities for a high-visibility, busy major weapons systems acquisition program. This role leads the development and execution of strategic communications supporting acquisition programs, modernization initiatives, congressional engagement, and organizational priorities.

The primary work location for this position will be SPA's Washington, DC office at 20 M Street, SE and will require regular visits to the client location at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY), though a hybrid work option is available for well-qualified candidates.
