Job Description
- Lead external communications strategy and tactical plan aligned to agency goals
- Develop strategic messaging for Agency leadership, including talking points, speeches, op-eds, and blogs
- Oversee content creation for social media, website, digital marketing and webinars
- Collaborate with the Governor’s Office and other State Government Offices on high profile communication opportunities
- Draft press releases and branded collateral materials
- Identify opportunities for thought leadership and strategic engagement
- Direct internal communications operations for leadership messaging and outreach processes
- Develop and implement internal processes for branding and communications metrics
- Coach and develop staff to communicate effectively and manage a team
- Support Public Information Act requests and supervise interns
