Job Summary

Own end-to-end billing and vendor/payable processes to keep costs reconciled, billed, and compliant, with emphasis on accurate invoicing, three-way matching, and monthly closings that flag underbillings or overbillings.

Billing and AR: Generate invoices, manage payments, and monitor aging to minimize outstanding receivables.
Purchasing and cost control: Match invoices to POs/receipts, code correctly, and complete cost-to-billing reconciliations.
Vendor management: Reconcile statements, maintain W-9s, and ensure subcontractor compliance with renewals and documentation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Generate and send customer invoices
Record and reconcile incoming payments, including checks, ACH, credit cards, and cash
Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
Resolve billing disputes and discrepancies with customers
Maintain accurate customer account records and credit limits
Receive, verify, code, and enter vendor invoices and credit card receipts into accounting software
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, including three-way matching where applicable
Process payments via check, ACH, and credit card
Maintain accurate payment records
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
