Job Description
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Demand & Supply Planning to lead the integrated planning function for a high growth business division, Hestan Culinary. This role owns both demand forecasting and supply planning, ensuring alignment between commercial plans and operational execution.
You will drive forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and service levels by connecting Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. This role also leads the S&OP/IBP process, builds scalable planning capabilities, and manages a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting

Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across all channels (eCommerce, retail, wholesale)

Develop and maintain short- and long-term forecasts using historical data, trends, and market insights

Lead a continuous improvement program for forecast accuracy, including root cause analysis, bias tracking, and corrective actions

Define and track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast value add
Supply Planning & Inventory Management

Own supply planning to ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels

Translate demand forecasts into supply plans, including production, purchasing, and replenishment strategies

Partner with manufacturing and suppliers to align capacity, lead times, and constraints

Manage inventory health, including excess, obsolescence, and stockout risk

Define inventory targets (safety stock, reorder points) and optimize working capital
Integrated Business Planning (S&OP / IBP)

Lead the monthly S&OP/IBP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans

Facilitate cross-functional decision-making and trade-off discussions (service vs. cost vs. inventory)

Provide scenario planning and recommendations to executive leadership
Demand Generation & Commercial Alignment

Partner with Marketing and Sales to incorporate promotions, product launches, and campaigns into forecasts

Ensure demand plans reflect commercial strategy and revenue targets

Improve visibility and accountability around demand-driving activities
Tools, Systems & Capability Building

Own and optimize planning tools (ERP, demand planning, supply planning, BI platforms)

Identify and implement new tools, automation, and advanced analytics capabilities

Build scalable processes and improve data quality and governance
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Track and report KPIs across demand and supply (forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, fill rate)

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes

Identify risks and opportunities and proactively adjust plans
Qualifications
-
8–12+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated business planning
-
Experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce (durable goods like cookware preferred)

Proven track record leading S&OP/IBP processes

Strong understanding of both forecasting and supply/inventory planning

Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar)

Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Working Conditions

Environment: Remote. If in the office, work is performed primarily indoors under artificial lighting. You will have close contact with all company employees and customers.

Equipment: The role requires consistent use of standard office equipment, including a computer, laptop, telephone, and printer. You will also be around other work equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands: This position requires sitting, repetitive use of hands, walking, standing, and reaching overhead. You must also be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Hours & Travel: The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, though some overtime and weekend work may be required. The position is remote w/ some travel to our Vallejo, CA campus.
$120,000 to $150,000, DOE
