Responsibilities

• Build Community Connections
• - Build relationships with schools, community partners, and organizations to increase awareness and access to Kids First.
• - Identify community needs and create opportunities for engagement.
• - Represent Kids First at schools, community events, health fairs, and other strategic activities.
• Lead Outreach
• - Supervise and coach the Community Outreach Associate.
• - Set outreach goals, priorities, schedules, and measures of success.
• - Ensure a consistent Kids First presence in schools and the community.
• - Evaluate results and adjust strategies to reach more families.
• Tell the Kids First Story

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in community engagement, outreach, communications, marketing, nonprofit work, public relations, or a related field.
• Experience working with schools, community organizations, or other external partners.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Experience with social media, websites, and digital communications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Preferred

• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, not required.
