Job Summary

Lead end-to-end marketing and communications strategy for American Airlines Loyalty across B2B and B2C, coordinating cross-functional teams and measuring campaign performance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute end-to-end marketing and communications strategies for engaging American's customers via B2B and B2C channels.
  • Track and apply insights from current B2B/B2C consumer behavior trends and Loyalty ecosystem needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Global Sales, Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis, Network Planning, Partnerships, Customer Experience, Loyalty, among others.
  • Engage directly with partners and channels/customers to understand needs and promote innovation.
  • Use operational knowledge and technology to engage in a 1-to-many B2B and B2C environment.
  • Develop strategic marketing plans with multi-touch B2B and B2C outreach.
  • Understand travel and Loyalty audiences, segmenting and delivering targeted messaging for B2B, B2C and B2B2C.
  • Measure and optimize marketing campaign performance using analytical tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 years of marketing/communications experience.
  • Ability to prioritize requests, simultaneous project management, and collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to execute deliverables in a timely and detail-oriented fashion.
  • Capable of project managing cross-functional projects and seeing through deliverables from conception to delivery; confidence in presenting recommendations and executive-level updates/summaries to senior leadership.
  • Strong grasp of proper syntax and effective tone-of-voice messaging style(s) - dependent on audience and deliverable needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires high-level of collaboration across departments.

Preferred

  • Experience in the airline industry, field sales, partnerships, loyalty programs, creative production, B2C/B2B2C marketing
  • Experience with marketing analytics, and tracking channel/mktg performance
  • Experience in activating lead generation and acquisition marketing campaigns
