Job Description

Responsibilities

Assist the Sports Information Director day-to-day social media operations for all athletics accounts
Create and publish engaging content including graphics, photos, short-form video, reels, and stories
Cover athletic events, practices, and campus activities (including nights and weekends)
Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across platforms
Coordinate with coaches and athletics staff to plan content and highlight achievements
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices

Requirements

Experience managing social media for athletics, sports teams, or related organizations
Strong writing skills with the ability to capture game action and storytelling moments
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Basic graphic design and video editing skills preferred
College athletics or youth sports environment
Familiarity with recruiting-focused and enrollment-driven content
Experience with content scheduling and analytics tools
