Responsibilities

Manage and execute daily social media activity & coordinate content calendars across all platforms for the Coachella Valley Lakers.
Create and publish engaging content, including graphics, short-form video, and real-time game coverage.
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase fan engagement, brand awareness, and audience growth.
Monitor social media channels and proactively engage with fans in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to concept and execute campaigns that support ticket sales, partnerships, and community initiatives.
Capture live content during games, events, and community appearances to showcase the team’s presence in the Coachella Valley.
Ensure and uphold brand consistency across all platforms in alignment with team, league, and partner guidelines.
Support digital campaigns, promotions, and activations tied to NBA G League initiatives and team objectives.
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices within sports and entertainment.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
2-3 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in sports, hospitality, or entertainment.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
Experience creating & scheduling content, managing content platforms & calendars, basic graphic design functionality, and video editing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, motivation, and a strong work ethic.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative thinker with a passion for sports, storytelling, and fan engagement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required.
