Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form videos, photos, graphics, and social media content
• Regularly appear on camera to educate, entertain, and engage our audience
• Capture behind-the-scenes, product, cultivation, team, and event content
• Develop content ideas, recurring series, and social campaigns
• Manage a consistent social media content calendar
• Write captions and social copy that match our brand voice
• Engage with followers and identify relevant social media trends
• Track content performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure content complies with applicable cannabis advertising regulations

Requirements

• At least 1 year of paid professional social media/content creation experience
• Experience creating content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, or LinkedIn
• Strong short-form video filming and editing skills
• Comfortable and engaging on camera
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools
• Strong communication, creativity, organization, and attention to detail
• Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation
• Must be able to work on-site in Portland, CT
• A portfolio, work samples, or links to professional content you've created are required to be considered.

Preferred

• Photography and videography experience
• Experience with social media analytics and paid campaigns
• Experience in cannabis, lifestyle, food & beverage, or another consumer brand
• Knowledge of cannabis products and Connecticut's cannabis industry
• Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
