Job Summary

Own the social presence for a professional services firm, coordinating content with attorneys to surface thought leadership and community activity.

  • Social & Engagement: Manage the LinkedIn presence, monitor engagement, and respond or escalate as needed.
  • Content Collaboration: Create post copy, plan content, and coordinate cross-channel updates with the website and blog.
  • Strategic Highlights: Surface firm activity, case wins, awards, and community involvement in campaigns.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor social media presence, with a primary focus on LinkedIn
  • Create and publish social media content, including post copy and basic content planning
  • Collaborate directly with attorneys to develop content related to thought leadership, case wins, awards, and community involvement
  • Monitor engagement and activity, responding or escalating as appropriate
  • Coordinate content across social media, website updates, and blog promotion when applicable
  • Identify opportunities to highlight firm activity, community involvement, and recognition

Requirements

  • Experience managing social media for a professional services organization
  • Legal and professional services experience required
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone for a professional audience
  • Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage freelance deliverables independently
  • Preference for candidates interested in a longer-term freelance engagement rather than short-term agency-style work
