Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead the overall social direction across VALORANT / VALORANT Esports social channels, ensuring content remains culturally relevant, platform-native, and results-oriented.
Drive thought leadership around content development, engagement practices, measurement, and process.
Serve as the senior client point of contact, shaping and driving conversations around social strategy, content innovation, and performance.
Lead cross-functional collaboration with creative and strategy teams to develop social-first ideas that spark engagement and resonate with VALORANT and VALORANT Esports audiences.
Translate brand and campaign goals into platform-specific approaches across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube Shorts, including reactive and real-time opportunities.
Stay deeply connected to gaming culture and the VALORANT ecosystem, identifying moments and guiding how we show up in ways that feel authentic and timely.
Lead and mentor team members, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance culture that drives excellence.
Plan and execute best-in-class social campaigns and coverage for Valorant Champions Tour.
Oversee multiple workstreams, driving alignment and efficient delivery across account management, strategy, creative, design, and production.
Establish a consistent analysis cadence to identify growth and engagement opportunities informed by audience insights, data, and industry trends.

Requirements

8+ years of social media management experience.
Experience at a creative agency preferred, with a focus on content development and production within always-on social environments.
Ability to travel internationally up to 4 times per year for 1–4 weeks at a time.
Background in gaming, esports, lifestyle, professional sports/teams, or other culture-forward categories required.
Proven leader with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate business and brand objectives into effective social-first approaches.
Deep understanding of social platforms, formats, and trends.
Strong client management, communication and presentation skills in a wide variety of formats and settings.
Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative environments, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

This role is remote, with a preference for candidates based in Los Angeles.
