Responsibilities

• Write and edit blog posts for the Ciena corporate blog.
• Develop content for organic social media and other digital marketing assets.
• Maintain editorial calendars and coordinate content production schedules.
• Optimize content for SEO and AI-powered search using performance insights and established best practices.
• Monitor content performance, search visibility, and engagement metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Partner with marketing teams and subject matter experts to create customer-focused content supporting campaigns, product launches, and thought leadership initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional teams to develop and localize content aligned with global campaigns and regional priorities.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts through writing, editing, and proofreading activities.
• Experience creating content for blogs, websites, social media, and other digital marketing channels.
• Application of SEO fundamentals and interest in AI-powered search and content optimization.
• Utilization of content management systems, SEO tools, or web analytics platforms.
