Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop, post, and curate engaging content for College’s social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assess and adjust social media content, strategy, and timing to improve metrics and optimize performance.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to share college social media content on community and partner social media sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media or related (required)
  • Minimum of three years of work experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar position OR equivalent experience
  • Expert at targeted communications and advertising campaigns across various media platforms
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of SEO/AEO, web traffic metrics and social media best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
