Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Curate and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Quality-check graphic assets for major events like Televerse, FYC, and Emmy season
  • Manage the social content calendar — copywriting, scheduling, posting, and engagement
  • Create GIFs, mobile-first videos, and static graphics
  • Capture live content at Academy events, FYC screenings, the Emmys, and editorial shoots
  • Build social media toolkits for partners, networks, and talent
  • Generate analytics reports using native platform insights and Sprout Social
  • Collaborate with internal teams and outside agencies on social strategy for major campaigns

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in entertainment or event marketing
  • Strong writer and communicator with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with major social platforms, CMS tools, and email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Salesforce)
  • Familiar with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • A self-starter with entertainment industry experience and a genuine familiarity with current TV shows and talent
  • Flexible to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays to support events
