Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy content via assigned digital properties and social media channels
  • Leads content development aligned to business goals across all social properties and channels
  • Write and edit web copy for the Texas Health blog
  • Collaborates with Brand Experience on content direction and approaches
  • Update content on business listings, internal sites, and social properties using the CMS
  • Direct and oversee graphics and new design components for social sites, ensuring functionality and brand alignment
  • Triage and assign requests from the project system in coordination with management
  • Collaborate to obtain story concepts, images and content
  • Manage external content creators and act as liaison with agencies on content development
  • Manage assigned web properties and social properties for functionality, brand compliance and relevance
  • Manage day-to-day operation of social tools, including on-call crisis support
  • Review site content for accuracy and effectiveness
  • Monitor and triage messages from social tools and email inboxes
  • Analyze site content for SEO best practices
  • Interact with external vendors for content creation and support, including SEM, social monitoring, and listing tools
  • Liaise with internal departments relying on online properties (Recruiting, THRE, HR, Foundation)
  • Prepare reports on usage, trends and social analytics
  • Act as content expert for meetings and presentations
  • Collaborate to stay current on system and entity communication strategies for seamless pull-through on digital and social channels
  • Participate in strategy planning to develop social and digital strategies that complement system marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field required
  • 5 years experience in print or new media required
  • Must have experience creating social media content including video, graphic and text
  • Experience with Sprout Social or other social media publishing and monitoring software preferred
  • Experience with Meta Business Manager preferred
  • Yext or other reputation management platform preferred
  • Experience creating social media accounts and pages and be able to manage the settings and related technical issues preferred
