Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Create Instagram Stories and simple social graphics
• Help maintain SYRCLE’s social content calendar
• Write engaging, on-brand captions
• Repurpose event footage, photos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments into social content
• Identify relevant trends, sounds, formats, and creative opportunities
• Support community engagement across SYRCLE’s social platforms
• Monitor basic social performance and help identify what content resonates
• Brainstorm creative content concepts that build awareness around SYRCLE
• Occasionally attend NYC events to capture photos, videos, guest interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and real-time social content

Requirements

• Based in NYC or can easily travel throughout NYC
• Understand Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and short-form content
• Can confidently film and edit vertical video
• Have a strong creative and visual eye
• Understand current social media trends and culture
• Are comfortable creating content using tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools, or similar platforms
• Are proactive and comfortable bringing your own ideas to the table
• Can work independently without needing step-by-step direction
• Are organized, reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines
• Are interested in lifestyle, community, wellness, events, experiences, or NYC culture
